<DD> Command

Command Syntax: <DD>Data definition Identifies a data definition element in a definition list (<DL></DL>).  The command is unpaired. See also:  <DT>.

Example: <DL>   <DT>Defined term   <DD>Data definition </DL> The <DL></DL> command tag pair enclose and define the definition list.  The definition list contains both <DT> (defined term) and <DD> (data definition) elements.  Defined terms are not indented.  Data definitions are indented. Tip:   The definition list is useful for producing paragraphs with hanging indents, such as might be found in reference lists or bibliographies.  This tip was formatted using a definition list.
