BACK <!> Command next

Command Syntax:

<!-- some text or some commands -->

  • The command is unpaired.
  • Comments are enclosed within the command beginning and ending "brackets" -
    <  and  >.
  • The use of double hyphens  -- is encouraged although not strictly necessary.
Examples:
<!-- this is a comment -->

Commented text does not display in the browser.

<!--
  <ol>
    <li>eggs
    <li>ham
    <li>toast
  </ol>
-->

"Commented out" commands are not executed and do not display in the browser.
