BACK <I> Command next

Command Syntax:

<I> some italicized text </I>

The command renders enclosed text in italics.

See also:  <ADDRESS>, <CITE>, <EM>

Example:
<I> the text to be italicized </I>

Enclosed text is rendered in italics.

This is the preferred command for italics.

Other simple text formatting commands:
<B></B>  -  bold These commands can be used singly or in combination.  When used in combination they must be properly nested.

Example:

<B><I> bold italicized </I></B>

<BLINK></BLINK>  -  blinking
<S></S>  -  striken through
<U></U>  -  underlined
