BACK <DFN> Command next

Command Syntax:

<DFN> some defined text </DFN>

The command renders enclosed text in italics for emphasis and marks it as the defining instance for the term or phrase within the HTML Document.

The command functions only in the Internet Explorer browser.

Example:
<DFN> some defined text </DFN>

Enclosed text is rendered in italics.  The enclosed text becomes the definining instance of the phrase or term in the HTML Document.
